Let's get to the point, GREAT STORY!!! I could not put the book down, I needed to know what Tolomay was going to do now. When I gave my review on the second book, "Tolomay's World The Mountain of TEGI" I left out so much, especially where David was concern. If I gave an inkling about his torturous decision I would of rant on and on and told the whole story. So now I got that off my shoulder's, Tolomay in this book depicted like a warrior to rid the world of evil injustice, restore free will and choices. How she went about it was the most exciting part of this story. Tolomay's decision between Eric and Kenter was intense to say the least, with a "aha" ending to this trio. Did she match with the right person, for love or for the survival of the people? Did the scroll predict an outcome that made her decision the right choice? There were so many surprises and reasons behind all the choices that I was stumped! Stumped but loved each and every beginning and end of a decision Tolomay made. Great read and the story was so easy to follow. No hesitation at all while I read this story because you get so engrossed with the action that you want to read on. How the author intermingled the different groups, pointing out their looks, color of the hair and skins, also the languages, and auras and special abilities and mixes the ancient with the old and the new was beyond exceptional talent. Who can write like that? Oh yeah, YOU! Thank you for a wonderful ending, well it still continues on but I loved the ending of this series. This third book in the series is as well written as the others. I really enjoyed the amazing twists and turns. I won't give any spoilers, but there was a time in this book I had to actually put it down because I got so upset over what "I perceived" a specific choice the main character was going to make. I won't lie, I was frustrated and scared to continue! You can only get that way when you've become emotionally attached to the characters, so it's to the author's credit that I had this reaction to the book. Once I calmed and continued reading, I was really glad I did. This author knows how to weave a tale to a satisfying ending. Looking forward to more in the series!
The story of young Tolomay not only continues but picks a tempo, racing more and more wildly, as she begins to understand her true destiny. Or thinks that she begins to understand. Nothing is truly as it appears. For a well-meaning, naive, if a very strong, girl, Tolomay has to learn yet a great deal in this third book of the series, keeping us, the readers, on the edge of our seats.

Like the first two books, this one has a great flow, the perfect amount of action and dialog, well balance with wonderful descriptions. The world author creates is breathtaking and the characters wonderfully alive.

This is the third book in the series where we find Tolomay escape her father’s kingdom.

I was disappointed who Tolomay chose to be her match. It seemed like she wanted to spare Kenter’s life knowing the prophecy. And I don’t know what bothered me more, that she would sacrifice one for another or that she was racist in her choice. We’re led to believe she made her choice on the fact that their children would have a hard time in the world since she’s a blond and he “dark-haired”. Wasn’t this war that they were preparing for the reason to fight this prejudice? I’m missing the logic here.

I couldn’t get into the battle at all. What Tolomay was saying was just ridiculous as was the whole situation. What followed afterwards with Eric was not believable to me. I favored him over Kentor so this was a slap in the face for me.

I did however love the last part from Tolomay’s out of body experience. That fixed my taste for this book a bit. The second book holds this series for me though.

It’s been five or six months since I read the first two books in this series, but it feels like yesterday as the author threw me right back into the future world imagined by a powerful imagination. Tolomay's World The Splitting of The Trunk' by M.E. Lorde is a wild adventure. It leaves the reader with so much to think about, I have to call it a transformational read. Tolomay Ramey is an incredible character and she should be the star of a movie. Great stuff. Anyone who likes an intense dystopian fantasy will enjoy this series. Highly recommended 5-stars.
This is the third book in a series that I've been enjoying immensely. Like the previous two, I read this one in a matter of hours because I was sucked into Tolomay's World and couldn't put the book down until I was forced to leave.

In the first book, the character development was amazing! And although that continued in the second book, what I loved most about the sequel was the storyline showing us exactly what was going on within the Mountain of TEGI. In this book, we are already familiar with the main characters, and the new supporting characters stayed on the sideline. I'm hoping they'll take a step forward in the next book in this series.

What I liked best about this book was Tolomay's inner turmoil and how that is resolved, because with the choices she's forced to make, there really isn't an easy or "good" choice.
